Introducing Aspire Autism, LLC (Colorado)

About Us

The staff at Aspire Autism, LLC Colorado are leaders in the field of Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We utilize the technology of Applied Behavior Analysis to provide top-quality behavioral therapy and supports. Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence based practice that utilizes principles of behaviorism to foster skill acquisition and decrease challenging behaviors.  Here at Aspire Autism we have a passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment. We recognize that each child and family is unique and strive to tailor the needs accordingly. Each of our clients have individualized treatment plans that include behavioral goals for communication, social skills and other areas that are important for childhood development. Each treatment plan also includes a behavior intervention plan tailored to the individual clients, their behaviors, and how to target them. We adapt our teaching methods to the individual learning styles of our students.  The center makes it possible to explore the world around us in a safe and encouraging environment. We utilize a variety of teaching methods, including Discrete Trial Training and Incidental/Naturalistic Teaching.


Aspire Autism, LLC prepares our clients to be able to manage and work within the world. Our staff makes this possible by fostering a love of learning in our kids. It starts with a well-balanced curriculum and easy access to positive reinforcement. We make sure that our staff is equipped with the knowledge of each child and that the families within the Aspire community are able to voice their own opinions. Our staff makes learning fun!

Jeremy Blower; ED

Jeremy has worked with children with autism in various settings for the last 17 years. He has worked as an interventionist, a teacher's assistant in a school district, and for the state of Nevada as a developmental specialist where he helped children and their families. During his time with the state of Nevada he was promoted to the Autism Training and Technical Assistant position for the entire state. There he connected families to the appropriate resources and his ultimate goal was to make sure every child in the state had a proper screening for autism.



Abigail Larkin; BCBA, Clinical Supervisor

Abigail's passion for therapy first began during her undergraduate years. While earning her Bachelors in Psychology and Communication Disorders, she began to work with children on the Autism spectrum. During her Master's degree, Abigail was able to work with children in schools, homes, and aftercare centers. It was during this time of providing therapy that Abigail knew her passion was with helping children to develop life skills.  Abigail has a Master's Degree in Cognitive Behavioral Disorders, with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and obtained her BCBA through Clemson University. Abigail's focus in therapy ranges from developing and harnessing social skills, adaptive living skills, working on difficult behaviors, and helping clients and families with difficult transitions and behavioral problems. Currently, Abigail specializes in pediatric therapy, but is happy to work with all age groups and diagnoses. This year, Abigail traveled to Kenya with the Global Autism Project to create a sustainable ABA therapy center in the city of Nairobi. In her free time, Abigail enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, and exploring Colorado with her dog, Tulla.


Aaron Acosta; M.S., BCBA

Aaron grew up in Michigan, and went to Western Michigan University for his undergraduate in psychology. He went on to complete his graduate work at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology specializing in applied behavior analysis.  He has been a board certified behavior analyst for 2 years, and has been working with individuals with special needs since 2008. Aaron has worked across different age groups ranging from early childhood to geriatrics.  Aaron strives to improve the lives of others, and to promote independence. 

Liz DeWolf; M.S., BCBA

Liz has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2013 and has worked with children with special needs since 2008, where she first worked as a 1:1 interventionist providing in home ABA therapy to children with autism. Originally from San Diego, California, Liz earned her Bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University. Liz’s experience includes the development and implementation of social skills groups for children on the autism spectrum, parent training groups for parents aspiring to learn more about basic principles of behavior, direct supervision and training of staff, and program development and supervision of individualized ABA treatment plans.  Liz is dedicated to embracing the unique qualities and strengths of each child and is passionate about helping the family support these strengths in order to promote a better quality of life for each child.


Diane Allen; BCaBA

Diane is a Board Certified Assistant Analyst. Diane was born and raised in New York, then moved to North Carolina in 2012. Diane completed her undergrad at Fordham University and is currently finishing her MA thesis with C.W. Post in experimental psych. Diane moved to Colorado in June of 2016 and is planning to take the BCBA exam in 2017.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog.  Her favorite guilty pleasure is reality T.V. shows. Diane is a Board Certified Assistant Analyst.

Ashlie Thomas; Client Services Manager and RBT

Ashlie has been working with children on the spectrum for 7 years in group settings, school settings, and one-on-one settings. Group settings included social skills groups focused on inclusion of typical and special needs peers. She also has experience with children that have sensory, processing, and behavioral needs. She attended college for psychology and business administration. Ashlie is also RBT certified. Ashlie is a mother of two beautiful children and a great addition to the Aspire team!

Jennifer Howell; Family Advocate

Jennifer is so happy to be joining the Aspire Team. She comes with a Masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy and years of working in educational and therapeutic settings with children and families. Jennifer worked as an individual and family therapist for the Boulder Valley School District and has spent the last year working as a therapeutic instructor for preschool children on the autism spectrum. She looks forward to finishing her RBT training while working with the children at Aspire and getting to know the Aspire families as our new Parent and Family Advocate. Carter Kenyon; Childhood Program Director and RBT

Carter grew up in Tennessee and received a bachelor’s degree in German from Wake Forest University in 2013. He has worked at day camps for teens with special needs during multiple summers. In his free time, Carter enjoys playing ultimate, hiking, and skiing.

Rachael Beres; Early Social Skills Program Director and RBT

Rachael graduated from CU Boulder in May 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She plans on continuing on and getting her masters in the field of Psychology. She's been a part of our Aspire team for the last few years. Rachael has a positive attitude and always brings a smile to those around her. She is a great asset to our team and our clients love her. 



Angela Gomez; Early Childhood Program Director and RBT

Angela graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She previously worked as a counselor at a youth center for adolescent girls with a variety of disabilities. She loves working with children and has been since she was 14 years old! She is excited to be apart of Aspire's team!

Stefanie Sena; Assistant Program Director

Stefanie has been working with children for over 15 years. She attended Red Rocks Community college where she received her teaching degree. She worked as a Preschool Head Teacher for many years. Currently, she works part-time at North Metro Community Services. In her free time she loves spending time with her children!

Mia Rodolff; Assistant Program Director and RBT

Mia grew up in California and received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from CU Boulder in 2015. She has worked with developmentally disabled adults in the past, and thoroughly enjoys working with children of all ages. 

Elisia Ogaz; Early Social Thinkers Program Director and RBT

Elisia has a bachelor's degree in Human Services. She worked in the DPS district as a Behavior Intern with children. Elisia is enthuseastic and loves working with children of all ages. She loves dogs, baking, and the outdoors.  

Frida Jimenez; Social Skills Program Director

Frida has a bachelor's degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She is bilingual and enjoys using this skill with Spanish speaking parents. Frida is fun and outgoing and loves to work with children! Her hobbies are hiking with her dog, spending time with friends and family, and dancing! 


Interventionist McKenna Hester; Interventionist, RBT, and Marketing and Promotions Team

McKenna is a Denver native. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She has worked with kids with disabilities since 2011 in different venues. She previously worked as an intern at Westview Middle School in the special education department and coached the special needs cheerleading team at Cherry Creek High School. McKenna is also currently a Denver Broncos cheerleader. We love having her positive attitude and passion for this community here at Aspire.

Lance Huckaby; Interventionist

Lance started working at Aspire the summer of 2012 where he was a therapist to our young adults and adolescents. In the fall, he started working with our Early Childhood clients. His flexibility, patience, and quick learning style makes him fun to be around. 


Mikka Jones; Interventionist

Mikka was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She went to Colorado State University for Human Develpoment and Family Studies. Mikka is an excellent addition to our team. Mikka likes to spend her time going on long walks with her dog, Milo. She is currently a student studying Law and Criminal Justice.

Cassandra Peterson; Interventionist

Cassandra is originally from South Dakota. She recieved her Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming in Psychology. Cassandra is an excellent addition to the Aspire team. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Cassandra loves spending time with her Frenchie, Dexter. 


Alexis LaRocca; Interventionist

Alexis is great asset to our Aspire team. Orignally from New Jersey, she is pursuing her degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Interventionist Amber England; Interventionist

Amber is a Colorado native who graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelors degree in psychology.  She previously worked in the school district and realized she had a passion for helping children and seeing them progress.  She also loves fitness, cooking, and hiking with her dog, Jax.

Willow Gray; Assistant Program Directory and RBT

Willow is originally from Longmont, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelors degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. Before Aspire, Willow worked with Boulder's expand program assisting kids in their gymnastics classes. She really likes working with kids and watching them learn and grow. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, skiing, camping and traveling. 


Rebecca Fredericks; Interventionist

Rebecca grew up in New York and  attended the University of Massachusetts, graduating with a BA in Psychology. Rebecca loves working with children and has a passion for making a difference in others' lives! She has previously worked with individuals struggling with mental illness and chemical addiction. She enjoys reading, hiking, and live music!

Tyler Caldwell; Interventionist and RBT


Tyler grew up near Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in May 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Theraputic Recreation. Tyler completed my university-assigned internship with the City of Boulder parks and rec EXPAND program. He also became a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist this past summer of 2016. Tyler enjoys fly fishing, art, and sports!

Duncan Williams; Interventionist and RBT

Duncan grew up in San Diego and received his bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from CU in 2016. He has worked with adults with disabilities in the past and plans on pursuing a master’s in the future. Duncan enjoys the hiking, biking, sports, and frisbee.


Leah Golombek; Interventionist, RBT and Assistant Client Services Coordinator

Leah grew up in New Jersey and moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Boulder. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Education in 2017. Leah is now enrolled at the University of Northern Colorado, obtaining her Master's Degree in Special Ed: Intervention Specialty with an emphasis in ABA Therapy. She plans on becoming a BCBA. She has loved working at Aspire and is a great member of our team. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog, Bear.

Ashley Muraoka; Interventionist

Ashley received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Healthcare Administration. Ashley loves working with children with special needs, but especially enjoys working with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She enjoys watching them grow and become such amazing individuals. Fun fact about Ashley, is that she is a competitive bowler. She has been bowling for 17 years and bowled collegiately for 4. Through all her years of bowling, she has met many individuals with ASD who love the sport just as much as her and want to improve. It brings her joy to be able to help and coach them. 

Aspen Gupton; Interventionist

Aspen started at Aspire Autism in May 2017 and has absolutely loved every minute of it since then! She is a Colorado Native! She first started working with children with Autism when she was 11 years old, which is where she was first exposed to ABA therapy. She is planning on attending CU Boulder in the fall to study Neuroscience and Integrative Physiology, going down the pre-medicine track. Aspen's dream career is to be a Developmental Pediatrician. Some hobbies of hers involve playing soccer, exploring new places, and spending time with her friends! A fun fact is Aspen is obsessed with chai tea! She is currently pursuing her RBT and plan to receive it by June 2018.

Olivia Tabor; Interventionist

Olivia is originally from the Chicago area and has both her bachelor's in psychology and sociology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Olivia has previous experience coaching Special Olympics gymnastics since 2010, as well providing in-home ABA therapy. She has a passion for working with the special needs population. Olivia's vibrant personality and energy cannot be missed and she is a great addition to the Aspire Team.

Stephany Brown; Interventionist, RBT, and Staff Trainer

Stephany is a Colorado native and has been working with kids with Autism since 2014. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2014 and her Master's in Special Education in 2017 from BYU-Idaho. She has a younger brother with Autism and wanted to help kids like him. After finishing her Bachelor's taught 4th grade at a school for kids with Autism for three years. After working with these kids, she wanted to continue to focus on this populatin, but wanted to do more one to one intervention. She changed careers and came to Aspire to become an interventionist. She is currently pursuing her BCBA and plans to finish in early 2019. 

Emma Spilsted; Interventionist

Emma grew up in Denver, and recieved her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Creighton University. She has worked at Aspire since October, and has loved getting to know all the kids. She has plans to attend medical school in the fall, and enjoys hiking, reading and travelling. 

Katie Beydler; Interventionist

Katie grew up in a small town east of Denver. She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She taught in an Autism Spectrum Disorder classroom for three years and decided she wanted to pursue more one on one intervention. She is currently working towards her Master's degree in Special Education: Intervention Specialist and working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She grew up with a best friend who has Autism, which is what lead her into this field! She loves getting to know the children and seeing them grow! 


Geniveve Tang; Interventionist

Geniveve graduated from CU Boulder with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She loves working with children. Along with working at Aspire, she also works for Boulder Valley School District as a Supervisor of an after school care program. She is a major foodie and enjoys traveling in her free time.

Avery Puricelli; Interventionist

Avery grew up in Sedalia, Colorado and loves working with children! She is a graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder and majored in Psychology and Elementary Education. Along with working at Apsire, she also works at a child advocacy center in Boulder and coaches soccer to young kids on the weekends! Avery lived in Australia for 5 months and travled around Asia, her next travel destination is Italy!

Alexa Stoner; Interventionist and RBT

Alexa grew up in north Boulder. She received a Bachelor of Science in 2009 from CSU then moved back to Boulder. Looking for something more she packed her bags and moved to Israel in 2011; She taught English at an Arab-Jewish peace community center near Tel Aviv. She went on to live on a Kibbutz just south of Tel Aviv, Israel where she attended the University of Bar Ilan in Ramat Gan, Israel. She was in Masters Program which she hopes to finish at some point.  She continued to live, work, and study there for a year and a half until 2013. She returned to Colorado and started teaching pre-school at the Acorn school. in 2014 she met her husband and moved to Chicago to teach kindergarten then returned to Colorado and taught pre-school at The Fitzsimmons Learning Center. She joined the Aspire team in 2017. She hopes to obtain a BCBA and continue working with individuals with ASD. She is happily married to her husband Chris and loves enjoying the outdoors with their husky Odin.

Catherine Ball; Interventionist

Cat was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Anthropology and a BS in Psychology. She has always had a passion for working with children and loves seeing them learn and grow.  During her free time, she enjoys playing trivia, cooking, and doing  yoga.  

Julea Dietz; Administrative Assistant

Julea was born in Colorado and graduated high school from Questar Academy. She also attended Broomfield High School and participated in cheerleading. Julea wants to pursue a career in business and strives to be a business owner one day.  She has always wanted to travel and see the world. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and hiking in the mountains.
